Politicians believe there would have been no missile attacks on Poland if not for Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak made his statement at a press conference in Indonesia on the sidelines of the G20 summit. He said there would have been no missile attacks on Poland if not for Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

As long as it continues [the war], it is a threat to our security and the security of our allies. And as long as it continues, it will continue to destroy the world economy. Putin's disregard for human life will be felt around the world for years to come.

A similar statement was made by Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte on Twitter, he wrote:

One thing is clear: This would not have happened without Russia's appalling missile strikes on Ukraine.

Rutte also said that representatives of the G7 club and NATO had gathered this morning, 16 November, in Bali at the G20 summit to discuss yesterday's incident in Poland, to "establish the facts and support the Polish investigation".

It is worth recalling that on 15 November, during Russia's massive missile strikes on Ukraine, one of the missiles landed on a farm in Poland, killing two people. NATO countries are now trying to establish whether it was a Russian missile or a Ukrainian missile that was meant to shoot down a Russian shell.
