The Ukrainian Border Guard Service talks about the situation of a strike force from Belarus
Border guards note that the situation may change.
Andriy Demchenko, spokesman for the State Border Service of Ukraine, said this on the air of the news marathon on 20 February.
The speaker said that the situation on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border is under control. Furthermore, there is no strike force ready to attack from the north in Belarus.
The situation on the border with Belarus remains fully under control. Of course, considerable attention is paid to this direction because units of the Russian Federation are located there - on the territory of Belarus. However, we do not currently observe such a strike force that could carry out an invasion into the territory of Ukraine.
According to the speaker, Ukrainian intelligence, which monitors the situation deep into the territory of Belarus, also does not note any strike groups.
At the same time, Demchenko stressed that the enemy should not be underestimated and that the situation could change at any moment.
