Patriarch Kirill is sure that Russia has done nothing wrong to anyone

Russia has done nothing wrong to anyone, and many have a negative attitude towards it, because they are jealous. This message was made by the head of the Russian Orthodox Church MP, Patriarch Kirill, during a sermon after the liturgy in the Church of St. Cyril and Methodius Equal-to-the-Apostles in Kaliningrad.

In his sermon, Kirill called Kaliningrad the western frontier of Russia and noted that "many are rebelling" against Russia today. He attributed this to jealousy and envy.

We are different, and this "otherness of Russia excites a feeling of jealousy, envy and indignation, but we cannot change ourselves. Of course, many people wanted - as they say now - to "reformat" us, but it did not work out, - quotes the Patriarch TASS .

His statements come against the background of the war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine, in which, according to various estimates, tens of thousands of Ukrainian civilians were killed in four months, and a significant part of the country was occupied.

Let us remind you that Great Britain imposed sanctions against Patriarch Kirill. The reason for blacklisting in London was his "support for Russian military aggression in Ukraine." The head of the Russian Orthodox Church came under sanctions for the first time.
