The hijacker's conversation was intercepted by the CID.

As the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry pointed out, Russian invaders continue to commit crimes on the territory of Ukraine. In particular, they intercepted a conversation between one of the Russian soldiers and his acquaintance, to whom he told about the rape of a 70-year-old woman by Russian convicts who came to the front to kill Ukrainians.

In particular, the acquaintance asked him whether it was true that Russian soldiers raped a 70-year-old grandmother. He confirmed this information.

There was, there was such a thing. But it's a mess. Convicts are walking around with guns, and then they look for them. They're drinking. Ukrainians shot them," he said.

He also told his friend that he is now digging trenches, but it is difficult because the Ukrainians are constantly shelling their positions.

Listen, but they don't run out of them (shells - ed.). They shoot and shoot. From all sides. We are still standing in place, digging trenches," he said.

We would like to remind you that an international group of 38 countries has been set up to bring to justice every Russian occupier who committed crimes on the territory of Ukraine. Prosecutors from different legal systems, including the US one, are already working together at the centre to collect and share key evidence and conduct reliable and independent investigations.

We would like to add that the United States will provide 1 million dollars to the International Centre for the Investigation of Crimes of Aggression against Ukraine, which was set up in The Hague.
