Rheinmetall Concern hands over mobile field hospital to Ukraine (video)

The German concern Rheinmetall has handed over a 32-bed mobile field hospital to Ukraine.
This is stated in the concern's press release published on 12 September.
In September 2022, the German Defence Ministry awarded a contract to Rheinmetall Mobile Systeme GmbH, a subsidiary of the Rheinmetall Group, for the production of a hospital for the AFU and related training support.
The value of the order was around nine million euros. The project was realised within a year.
The modern field hospital includes eight intensive care beds, an operating theatre, an X-ray and CT scanner, and a laboratory.
The hospital is equipped with independent generators and its own water supply.
