Russian invaders blocked all exits from the Kherson region.

About 20 people tried to go through the front line in the Kherson region to the territory controlled by Ukraine. It is reported by "Suspilne".

According to local activist Yuri Samokhvalov, people tried to leave the region near the village of Vysokopole. However, the Russian military released only 11 people.

He also noted that those who came out were provided with humanitarian aid and taken to a safe place.

It is known that the Russian military block the Kherson region for entry and exit to Nikolaev and other cities.

Earlier, residents of Kherson and the region were warned that leaving through the annexed Crimea is illegal. There is responsibility for this. As the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Gennady Laguta, said in an interview with Radio Liberty's News of the Sea of Azov project, the fact is that a resident of Kherson who will travel through the peninsula will not have a border crossing stamp. And for this, administrative and even criminal liability is provided.

It also became known that the occupying authorities postponed the so-called "referendum" in Kherson until next year.
