The animal may have injured its spine or hind legs.

Due to Russian shelling on 11 November, a tigress named Tigryulya was injured at the Natalia Popova Wild Animal Rescue Centre in Kyiv region. During the strong sounds of explosions, the animal jumped up and hit the bars, fell down and still cannot get up on its own. In the Centre for the rescue of wild animals told "UP. Life", how the tigress feels now, and in what condition are other animals of the Centre.

There noted that the animal was badly injured and now requires constant medical attention.

We and doctors are doing everything possible. Now the tigress receives anti-inflammatory, analgesic therapy. She can't get up yet. But the hind limbs have started to move a little, which gives hope that the spine is intact," the Centre said.

Specialists noted that at the moment they are trying to organise rest for the animal, and then will decide on MRI or CT scan.

The Centre also reported that the tigress was not the only one injured during the shelling. One of the lions was also frightened by the sounds of explosions. He hit his head on the net and, according to animal rights activists, his nose bled for about 40 minutes afterwards. But now, as people hope, the animal is coming back to normal.
