The Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) was once again attacked by a drone, at the same time IAEA representatives were not allowed into the territory of the plant.

This was announced by Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Rafael Mariano Grossi, the IAEA website said.

Grossi noted that this is the third attack recently. IAEA representatives heard the explosion in the morning, at 10:35. It was then learnt that there had been an attempted drone attack.

No damage or casualties were reported as a result of the drone attack.

This is the third attack on the training centre recently, following two similar incidents last week. ZNPP officials told the IAEA team at the site that today's drone was 'neutralised' without giving any details," the report said.

It is noted that the IAEA group was not allowed into the territory of the plant to assess the incident. And at ZNPP itself explained the denial of access by the potential safety risk.

IAEA Director General said that at the moment "drone strikes do not violate nuclear safety at the facility", however, they must stop immediately.
