Specialists of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry have identified the Russians who shot four Ukrainian prisoners of war at point-blank range.

In the second half of May 2024 recorded another war crime of the army of the Russian Federation. Near the settlement of Robotino in Zaporizhzhya region, the occupants shot four Ukrainian military who surrendered as prisoners of war.
The execution episode was recorded on video: four Ukrainian military with raised hands without weapons surrendered into captivity, the Russians forced them to lie face down and shot them at point-blank range," the report said.
According to intelligence, the military of the assault group of the 70th motorised rifle regiment (v/h 71718) of the 42nd motorised rifle division of the 58th army of the southern district of the Russian Armed Forces are involved in the war crime. Its point of deployment is in Chechnya.
At the time of the execution of the Ukrainian prisoners of 70 motorised rifle regiment of the RF AF was commanded by Abayev Yuri Mairbekovich with the call sign "Buivol".
The GUR also named the names of others involved in the war crime: Dmitriy Nagorny, Temirlan Abutalimov, Zaur Bekov and Yusup Imagazaliyev.
The mentioned Russian war criminals may also be involved in the murder of several more Ukrainian prisoners of war later in May 2024," the intelligence agency said.
In particular, the involvement of the occupants in other crimes is evidenced by radio intercepts of a conversation between the occupants from the 70th regiment of the Russian Armed Forces, where one of the commanders orders his subordinates to shoot Ukrainian servicemen.
