This is very important for us today. We need to update and increase the public transport fleet. To make the movement around the city, especially in these difficult conditions, comfortable for the people of Kiev, - said Klitschko.
The Mayor of Kyiv thanked the Deputy Mayor of Riga, Edwards Smiltens, for his visit and assistance.
For us, this is evidence of Latvia's solidarity with Ukraine, its capital, with the Ukrainian people in our struggle for our independence and freedom, - he added.
