The head of intelligence assessed the counter-offensive of the AFU on the front

Ukrainian defenders have advanced in the south and east of our country.
The most important indicator of the Ukrainian counter-offensive on the front is that it is not stopping. The Ukrainian armed forces have victories. Although not fast, but still the liberation of territories from the enemy continues. This was told by the head of the Main Directorate of intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine Kirill Budanov, reports Bulgarian bTV.
The counter-offensive of our soldiers is quite difficult, as Russia has managed to somewhat strengthen its position with stationary defence complexes, - he pointed out.
Budanov noted that it is going a little faster on the Bakhmut line than in the south, "but time will tell."
He did not specify what territory Ukrainian troops have already liberated from the invaders, but assured that Ukraine has enough forces to hold the already liberated territories.
Can we hold the territory we have already conquered - yes, we can, and we will move on," Budanov said.
Budanov also expressed gratitude to Bulgaria for its help in the fight against the Russian invaders.
Bulgaria has given us a lot of weapons, but most importantly, it is increasing the production of new ammunition. The needs are very high, so it is vital for us. Ukraine will always remember and will be grateful for the help provided to us by your state," Budanov emphasised.
