The number of victims of the strike on Kharkiv region has increased

The death toll in Kharkiv Region in the village of Groza has reached 50 people. A 6-year-old child is among the dead. This was reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

In the afternoon on Thursday, 5 October, Russian troops hit a cafe in the village of Groza in the village of Kupyansk district of Kharkiv region. At that time there were about 60 people there who had gathered for a memorial dinner.

It is now known about 50 dead, 29 of whom have been identified. Another seven people were injured.

The strike was the worst mass casualty count in the Kharkiv region since the start of the Russian invasion. At the time of the attack, 330 people lived in the village.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the violation of laws and customs of war involving intentional killing (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The police do not rule out that one of the residents of the village itself aimed missiles at the cafe. The SBU began an investigation.
