Budanov made a statement about the new mobilisation in Russia and the Kremlin's plans

The Russian army is not stopping and continues offensive actions, having regrouped its forces.
The Russian army continues its offensive and the Kremlin may announce a new mobilization, which is a serious threat, the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, has said in an interview with the Apostrof media outlet published on 6 September.
In it, Budanov stressed that any new mobilisation in Russia would be "painful" for the Russians themselves, but is entirely realistic.
Can the Russian Federation mobilise? It can. Unfortunately, this is a serious threat. It will be painful for the Russian Federation, but it is realistic, - said the head of the GSD.
When asked about the possibility of sending conscripts to the front, Budanov said that if mobilised, the Russians would be able to dramatically increase the number of troops and "throw people even more to meat than they do now".
Speaking about the Russian army's summer offensive, Budanov emphasised that it could not be called a success, but it could not be called a complete failure either - the Russians managed to seize some territories.
According to him, the enemy's plans for autumn remain the same: the Russian army is not stopping, it continues offensive actions after regrouping its forces.
The regrouping of the main forces has recently taken place. In principle, the advanced units that have been regrouped have already entered combat operations," said the head of the GUR, adding that the occupation troops are noticeably depleted.
Budanov also revealed the volume of foreign aid to Russia. According to him, at least 40 per cent of the ammunition used by Russia in the war is produced in North Korea, while about 60 per cent is domestically produced. He emphasised that North Korea will continue to support Russia, but there will be no significant increase in the grouping.
Regarding threats to Europe, Budanov noted that there is no direct threat at the moment, but it could become an "absolute reality" by 2030, based on the Kremlin's plans and ambitions.
