

Actor Andriy Domansky, who served in theatre for almost 25 years and joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, has died at the front.
This was reported in Zhytomyr Academic Musical and Drama Theatre named after Ivan Kocherga.
You were always sincere and kind. You always went forward to your goal. You knew how to support in word and deed. You always smiled. Wise, frank, emotional. Incredibly talented, charismatic. You loved the theatre, and the theatre loved you, - wrote colleagues of the actor.
Andrei Domansky was the leading actor of the theatre. Over 25 years of work, he played more than 40 roles.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the man voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the army Domansky had the call sign "Artist" - shared his twin Oleg Saftyuk.
Together passed from the beginning of the full-scale war. We fought from Makarov to Kherson. Together stormed the 17th point, which is near Belogorka in the Kherson region, held the defence. It was he who pulled me wounded out of the trench and covered the withdrawal. In that battle Andrei received a heavy contusion..., - he said.
It is known that the farewell to Andrei Domansky will be held on Wednesday April 10 at 12:00 in the foyer of the theatre.
