Zelensky explained why the Kremlin hit the Chernobyl nuclear power plant

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that the Russian drone attack on the Chernobyl nuclear power plant had a symbolic meaning for the Kremlin and was another demonstration of aggression by Russia. He said this in an interview with NBC News.

He emphasised that the strike was carried out on the day of the start of the Munich Security Conference and was a conscious signal from the Kremlin to its participants.
