Zelensky says he will guarantee a peaceful life in Ukraine

The conflict between Ukraine and the Russian Federation must come to an end, the president said.
Only a full-scale defeat of Russia will provide Ukraine with a reliable guarantee against new aggressions and crises. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an evening address.
He stressed that it should be Russia's "full-scale defeat" - on the battlefield, in the economy and in international relations.
Step by step we do everything possible everywhere so that Russian revanchism loses in every element of its aggression against Ukraine and freedom of peoples in general. Russia must lose on the battlefield, in the economy, in international relations, in its attempts to substitute historical truth with some of its imperial myths," the president said.
At the same time, Zelensky stressed that the Kremlin is losing in its attempts to "spiritually enslave our people".
And it is Russia's full-scale defeat that will be a reliable guarantee against new aggressions and crises," Zelenskyy said.
Additionally, the president stressed that support for Ukraine in the world was growing. In particular, the USA, Lithuania, Japan, Finland, Germany and Sweden announced new military packages for Ukraine. Ukraine has received 1.5 billion euros of macrofinancing from the EU, and Croatia has adopted a programme for the treatment and rehabilitation of our wounded warriors. Iceland recognized the Holodomor as a genocide of the Ukrainian people.
