In Uzhgorod, IDPs receive temporary housing in new buildings
Part of the IDPs forced to evacuate to Uzhgorod will receive temporary housing in new buildings.
Housing will be built on state-owned land. This was announced by the Deputy Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Tymoshenko.
The apartments will be renovated and furnished - this will be done by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. Thus, no funds from the state budget are required to provide housing for internally displaced persons, - said Kyrylo Tymoshenko.
It is planned to build apartments and donate part of the apartments to the state to meet the needs of internally displaced persons. It is designed to transfer 10% of the area, 1000-1200 square meters of housing in the new buildings.
It is essential when a business goes to meet people and the state. The investor offered to allocate part of the square meters of housing in the house, which will be put into operation in October this year, - Tymoshenko stressed.
The project will carry out the construction and transfer of temporary housing for providing housing for internally displaced persons.
We will receive locations for IDPs to stay without attracting public funds, which are now needed for the Armed Forces, - said the Deputy President's Office.
The precedent is planned to be used in other regions of the country.
