Police suspect a local woman of murder. The search for her is continuing.

This was reported by local Russian media.

Yesterday afternoon in St Petersburg, there was an explosion at a cafe in the city centre. As it later turned out, a creative evening was being held there by the famous Russian propagandist Vladlen Tatarsky (real name Maxim Fomin).

It was preliminarily established that an explosive device, which was built into a statuette, went off. It had been presented to the propagandist.

At the moment 32 people are known to have been injured. six of them are in serious condition, while 18 are in mild to moderate condition.

Local police say St. Petersburg resident Darya Trepova is suspected of the attack. It was she who handed Tatarsky the very statuette that exploded. The search for Trepova continues.

It is worth adding that the cafe where the explosion took place belongs to Yevgeny Prigozhin. He is also the head of the Wagner terrorist group.
