The OPU says that it can be dangerous in Ukraine on Independence Day

Russian occupiers like to tie their provocations to different dates.
On the Independence Day of Ukraine, air strikes on Ukrainian cities are possible. Advisor stated this to the Head of the Office of President Mikhail Podolyak on the telethon air.
Russia is an archaic state and it ties its actions to certain dates... They (the Russians - ed.) hate us, so they will try on August 23 and 24 to increase the number of cruise missile attacks on a certain number of our cities. Of course, Kyiv will be on this list. We remember these "powerful" speeches that in three days they will march along Khreshchatyk in Kyiv and thus show why the "Russian world" is much stronger than the Ukrainian one," Podolyak explained.
In turn, the strategic communications department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informs that Russia is concentrating many transport and launch containers with anti-aircraft guided missiles for the S-300 near the borders with Ukraine and in the occupied territories.
The threat of a massive shelling of the territory of Ukraine, at least with S-300 missiles, is obvious. Taking into account the arrival of several echelons before the 20th, it is also obvious that they will concentrate before August 24, the ministry said.
Recall that during martial law in Ukraine, the holidays stipulated by the Code of Labor Laws of Ukraine have been canceled. Therefore, the Independence Day of Ukraine falls on Wednesday and is an ordinary working day.
