Defence Ministry reveals which generals liberated Kherson region

Deputy Defence Minister Anna Malyar revealed the names of Ukrainian commanders who are leading the counter-offensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the south of our country. In doing so, she posted their photos on social media. She wrote "these are who are liberating our territories in the south. They are lumps of inner strength, military experience, indestructible character and the will to win":

• Oleksandr Tarnavsky - Brigadier General
• Andriy Kovalchuk - Major General
• Andrei Gritskov - Brigadier General
• Mikhail Drapaty - Brigadier General
• Andrei Gnatov - Brigadier General

We would like to point out that on 11 November, Ukrainian troops entered Kherson. Our soldiers also liberated Snihyrivka, the last town in Mykolayiv Region, which was under Russian control.
