GUR names goals of Ukrainian spring offensive

The Ukrainian army will be ready to go on the offensive in spring.
The goal of the planned counter-offensive by the Ukrainian army is to liberate all the occupied territories of Ukraine, including Crimea, the deputy head of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry's main intelligence directorate, Vadym Skibitskyy, has said, DW has reported.
He stressed that Kyiv intends to achieve the restoration of the country's integrity and does not intend to seize someone else's property.
Skibitskyy said that one of the priorities of the Ukrainian attack might be a "wedge" between Crimea and the mainland, which has been occupied by Russia.
Also, Ukraine will continue hitting warehouses where Russians store ammunition, including on Russian territory, such as the Belgorod Region.
Attacks on Ukraine will start from there. This poses a threat to Kharkiv, for example," he said.
Skibitskyy stressed that Ukraine considers only one option of victory - the return of all its territories.
We will stop only when we restore the country to the 1991 borders," he concluded.
