Along with Rogozin, the so-called "head of the DNR government," Vitaliy Khotsenko, was also wounded.

This was reported by Russian propaganda media. The Russians claim that former Roscosmos head Dmitry Rogozin and the so-called "head of the DPR government" Vitaliy Khotsenko were wounded in Donetsk, allegedly after being fired upon by Ukraine.

The shots were reportedly fired at a Donetsk hotel where Rogozin and his company were celebrating a birthday. Those accompanying Rogozin were also injured.

According to the pro-Kremlin publication Baza, Rogozin suffered a soft tissue shrapnel wound to the head, a penetrating shrapnel wound to the buttocks, and a penetrating shrapnel wound to the left thigh.

Rogozin himself says he "will live".

Wounded in the back, I'll live. The shrapnel [passed] a centimeter from the spine.

RosS media also reported that Gorlovka's pseudomayor Ivan Prikhodko was concussed when a hotel in Donetsk was shelled.
