One of the Russian MiG-31K KINZHAL carriers caught fire in Belarus


The aircraft is out of service and will not be able to fly anytime soon.
A Russian Mig-31K, which can carry Kynzhal missiles, was on fire in the territory of the Belarusian aerodrome Machulischy, the Belaruski Hayun reported in Telegram.
According to the monitoring group, the engine fire occurred on the aircraft with registration number RF-95194.
The monitoring group has information that today, December 25, the engine of one of the MiG-31K of the Russian Air Force caught fire at the airfield in Machulischy
The authors of the monitoring group called it a "Christmas miracle"
It is known that on December 13th three MiG-31Ks of Russian Air Force flew to Machulishchi. This is the second shift for this type of aircraft in Belarus. Previously three MiGs arrived on 16 October and stayed in Belarus for 46 days. Also, IL-76 IL-76 A-50U Sergei Atayants is based in Machulishchi and performs joint flights.
"December" MiGs have registration numbers RF-92215, RF-92445, RF-95194. They have already made at least four sorties.
