Russians change the emphasis of strikes in favour of endless waves of infantry

The fighting at Ugledar and Bakhmut shows that the Russians are shifting their focus from big armoured fighters to endless waves of infantry.



Colonel Pyotr Chernik, a military analyst, said this at a briefing at the Military Media Centre.

The expert calls such tactics "Classic bugaboo" and adds that Ukrainian forces "would have to grind it all down" to ensure success.
