Ukrainian pilots are trained on F-16: the AFU told details
Ukrainian pilots are training on F-16 fighter jets on flight simulators as part of their training.
This was announced by the speaker of the Air Force of the AFU, Yuriy Ignat, on the air of a telethon.
They are already flying on aviation simulators - it is not a simulator, it is actually a full-fledged aircraft: a moving cabin, which fully replicates the cabin of the F-16. The next stage - respectively flights with an instructor on real aircraft, - he said.
According to Yuri Ignat, in general, information about the training of pilots on the F-16 is not public.
The partners don't want to talk about it, they just do their job, and our pilots learn, - emphasised the representative of the Air Force.
Ignat also said that Ukraine is forming new groups of pilots who will go to train on F-16 fighters.
These pilots are now "doing their homework" on learning English and adapting to F-16s with the help of simulators.
