The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry believes that Putin has decided to move from blackmail to terrorism - physical damage to the energy infrastructure.

This was stated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Russia's attempts to persuade European governments to make concessions, in particular the lifting of sanctions, through energy blackmail, have failed. Demands to pay for gas in rubles, stopping gas supplies for supposedly "technical" reasons, and other methods had no success. Europe has shown strength and has begun active diversification and abandonment of blackmailer energy resources. Therefore, Putin decided to move from blackmail to terrorism - physical damage to energy infrastructure, the statement said.

Zelensky has already warned in the past that Russia could damage Ukrainian gas transportation infrastructure to force Germany to launch Nord Stream 2. Now the same could happen with Turkish Stream.

The Foreign Ministry notes that an integral part of the Kremlin's strategy is the constant accusations of Ukraine and Western countries of allegedly planning or carrying out sabotage against energy infrastructure.

The Ukrainian side insists that the only way partners can prevent Russian energy terrorism is to take a tough stance now and publicly declare that there will be no launch of Nord Stream 2 or lifting of sanctions against Russia under any circumstances. We urge partners not to pull with a clear signal in the direction of Moscow, which will force it to abandon its terrorist plans, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.

It is worth recalling that at the end of September there were explosions on the Nord Stream gas pipelines.

In addition, on October 11, a leak was discovered on one of the threads of the Druzhba oil pipeline; this section of the oil goes to Germany.
