Ukrainian deputies recognized the Chechen Republic as temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation

In Ukraine, the deputies recognized the Chechen Republic as temporarily occupied by the Russians.
This was reported by the Telegram channel of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Also Ukrainian people's deputies condemned the genocide of the Chechen people.
Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Elena Kondratiuk:
On my co-authorship, the Presidium of the Parliament and on the initiative of a group of people's deputies adopted the Statement of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the recognition of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria as temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation and condemnation of the genocide of the Chechen people, the report says.
The Verkhovna Rada also called on UN member states and international organizations to ensure a proper investigation of international crimes committed in the temporarily occupied territory of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria during the first and second wars.
