The new commander of Russian troops called the situation at the front "tense"

This is reported by the Russian media. The new commander of Russian troops in Ukraine, Sergei Surovikin, spoke publicly for the first time since his appointment. Most of the interview consisted of the usual propaganda clichés. But Surovikin also made several statements on the situation at the front.

He called the entire situation on the front "tense" and complained that Ukrainian troops continue to attack and advance.

Surovikin also said that Ukraine will continue to advance in the direction of Kherson. And he did not rule out that the Russian army would have to make difficult decisions.

It is worth recalling that Surovikin was appointed to the post on October 8. He marked his appointment almost immediately with massive attacks on all Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv. The occupiers used drones and rockets to bombard critical infrastructures and residential buildings. Because of these attacks in Ukraine, emergency power outages began. In some regions there were interruptions in the supply of water.
