The head of the MVA was injured during shelling in Volchansk

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an evening video message.

Zelenskyy noted that the Russians did not stop strikes on Kharkiv Region. During one of the attacks on 16 May, in particular, the head of the Volchansk MPA was injured.

The head of the Kharkiv regional administration, Oleh Sinegubov, has specified that Tamaz Gambarashvili is in average condition. The official was injured when the occupants struck a village in the Volchanska community with cluster munitions.

In general, six people were injured during the shelling - they were all hospitalised. Among the injured: two medics, two drivers and one civilian.

Earlier Socialportal reported that in Volchansk during the close combat with the occupants suffered a border guard. His life was saved by a certificate, which stopped the bullet.
