US may not provide Ukraine with long-range missiles even if Britain does

The US will continue to provide air defence equipment such as Patriot, ammunition and armoured vehicles.
This was reported by Politico citing US officials.
According to the officials, the administration of US President Joe Biden will not give Ukraine ATACMS missiles with a range of nearly 300 km. Even if such missiles are provided by Britain.
At the same time, US officials said that the USA would continue providing air defence equipment, such as Patriot, ammunition and armoured vehicles.
Even earlier, the chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mark Milley, had said that the US does not have much in the way of ATACMS in military terms.
It is worth recalling that the British Ministry of Defence recently said it was ready to provide Ukraine with long-range missiles. At the same time, the United Kingdom did not say either the volume or the deadline for providing the missiles.
