According to journalists, Slovenia's intelligence and security service has detained two foreign nationals in Ljubljana who were spying for Russia.

The criminals face up to eight years in prison.

According to unofficial information, the agents were nationals of a South American country. They worked under false names and rented an office. The agents most likely worked for the Russian military intelligence service GRU.
