Surrendering positions to the AFU near Bakhmut: SBU detains Slavyansk resident

In May-June 2023, the suspect confirmed the locations of Russian shelling in text messages. She also exposed the firing positions of the AFU, in particular MLRS calculations in Slavyansk and its vicinity, which deterred the offensive actions of the Ukrainian defenders.

Now the citizen is detained, the issue of selecting a measure of restraint in the form of detention is being decided. She is suspected of unauthorised dissemination of information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (part 2 of article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The attacker faces up to eight years in prison.
