SBU conducted a search of a UOC MP metropolitan: he was promoting the "Russian peace"

Investigators of the National Police Police together with the SBU conducted searches at the clergy of one of the religious parishes in the Vinnytsia region.

During searches at places of residence and in religious buildings, law enforcement officers seized printed materials with an appeal by Putin and the Moscow Patriarch to the citizens of Ukraine to recognize the quasi-republics of the “LPR/DPR”.

The investigation found that one of the clergy, even after the start of a full-scale invasion of the occupying forces in Ukraine, supported the policy of the Kremlin and approved of the actions of the Russian Federation. The Metropolitan posted publications on his own Internet resource containing calls for inciting interfaith hatred, the SBU reported. The examination allegedly confirmed the unlawful nature of his actions.
