The SBU has reported suspicion of Russian singer Chicherina, who threatened Ukrainians with Siberian concentration camps.
The SBU has collected evidence on Russian singer Yuliya Chicherina, who supported the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. This is reported by the SBU.
On the eve of 2023 Chicherina published a video message, where she called on the AFU military to surrender as prisoners of war.
In addition, Chicherina threatened Ukrainian soldiers with imprisonment in Russian concentration camps in Siberia.
Also after the Russian terrorist attack in Yelenovka, the singer came to the temporarily occupied village and gave a concert there, during which she called on local residents to join the ranks of the occupants.
Chicherina accompanied her agitation with "slogans" in which she justified the occupation of part of Ukraine.
SBU investigators informed Chicherina of suspicion under the following articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- ч. 1 Art. 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine);

- art. 436 (propaganda of war);
- ч. 3 of Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
In March 2022, Chicherina illegally arrived in temporarily occupied Energodar and removed the Ukrainian flag from the building of the city hall.
Then on this and other facts law enforcers qualified her criminal actions under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- ч. 3 Art. 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine);
- ч. 1 Art. 338 (abuse of state symbols).
The attacker faces life imprisonment.
