The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine detected forgeries at the stage of creation

According to Ekaterina Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digitalisation, the MoD has identified as many as three fake "Reserve+" sites. The sites were detected at the stage of creation, we can say they were nipped in the bud. Cyber-specialists of the Ministry of Defence discovered the fakes and appealed to the Ukrainians with an explanation of how to identify a fake.

According to Kateryna Chernogorenko the main sign of a fake site is a web address, which is made similar to the real one, but has minor differences.

Pay attention to the address bar. "Reserve+" is loaded only on the official link with the name"mod.gov.ua". But the fake has the same name, but it has other additional names - "top", "websate", "org", etc.

Russians create such pseudo-sites to collect personal data of Ukrainian citizens, which will be used for psychological pressure and discredit the work of the Government of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine appeals to citizens to be careful and check sources. A few steps that will protect you from the trap of the enemy

  1. Use only the official Reserve+ website: reserveplus.mod.gov.ua.
  2. Do not follow links that mimic the name reserveplus.mod.gov.ua and end in .top, .website, .org, etc.
  3. When downloading the application, be sure to check that the developer is the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (MINISTERSTVO OBORONY UKRAINY)".
