Russia used sea-, air- and ground-launched cruise missiles to launch the attack.

This was reported by the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On the night of 19 May, Russia fired 30 cruise missiles at Ukraine. The Ukrainian air defence managed to shoot down 29 of them.

Additionally, two Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs and two operational-level reconnaissance UAVs were shot down.

Two Tu-160 and eight Tu-95 strategic aircraft fired 22 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles. Six Kalibr cruise missiles were launched from ships in the Black Sea. As well as two Iskander-K cruise missiles from land-based operational-tactical missile systems.

Andrey Nebytov, head of the Kyiv regional police, showed photos of the wreckage of the downed missiles and urged Ukrainians not to ignore the air-raid alarms.
