The prime minister arrived in Ukraine from India.
This was reported by the NHK daily citing official sources.
According to journalists, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has left India for Ukraine on an unannounced visit.
The Japanese prime minister is expected to arrive in Ukraine on Tuesday for high-level talks with President Volodymyr Zelenski.
Earlier, it was reported that Prime Minister Fumio Kishida's possible visit to Kiev faces problems related to security and the difficulty of keeping the schedule and itinerary of the trip secret.
