Podolyak tells how many Patriot systems Ukraine needs

For the full defence of Ukraine, 10-12 Patriot or similar systems are required.
This was reported by the adviser to the head of the presidential office, Mykhaylo Podolyak, in an interview with The Guardian.
According to him, Ukraine lacks modern anti-aircraft systems such as Patriot because they can shoot down the latest generation of Russian missiles. In particular, Onyx and Kinzhal, which the enemy is actively using.
It is possible to provide defence of all Ukrainian cities with 10-12 Patriot or similar systems. So far there are only two Patriot systems in Ukraine.
Their arrival in the spring, along with a host of other systems, proved a dramatic step and meant that Ukrainian forces were able to repel almost everything Russia has thrown at the capital from the air over the past few months," the report said.
However, other cities remain vulnerable as Russia continues to attack civilian infrastructure.
Earlier Socialportal reported that the US announced a new $400 million aid package for Ukraine. The total list of aid also included additional ammunition for Patriot systems.
