An African country has handed over tanks to Ukraine

The African country is likely to continue transferring arms to Ukraine.
Morocco has decided to transfer to Ukraine some of its T-72B tanks, which have so far been upgraded in the Czech Republic. Some of them have already been sent to the front. However, the exact number of the tanks has not been announced, Menadefense has said.
It is known that until recently the Moroccan army had 148 T-72s, 136 T-72Bs and 12 T-72BKs purchased second-hand from Belarus in 1999 and 2000. Then Morocco was planning to create a "Russian" brigade in the north to defend against Algeria.
The publication notes that Morocco was literally "persuaded" to take such a step at the Ramstein summit of April 26, 2022, organized by the United States. At the time, Tunisia and Morocco were the only countries representing North Africa.
The T-72B is an upgraded version of the T-72A tank equipped with a hinged dynamic protection system, 840hp V-84-1 (V-84M) diesel engine and 9K120 Svir guided weapon system with laser-guided missile guidance.
