A humanitarian corridor between Russia and Ukraine resumes operation in Sumy region

The Kolotilovka (Russian Federation) - Pokrovka (Ukraine) checkpoint on the border between Sumy Region and Russia has resumed its work. Ukrainians who are evacuated from the temporarily occupied territories can return to the Ukrainian-controlled territory through it. This is stated in the Telegram-channel of the Ministry of reintegration of temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Since yesterday, the crossing point on the border of Belgorod and Sumy regions has resumed its work again, - said in the Ministry.

The ministry noted that Ukrainians, who find themselves on the Kiev-controlled territory, can immediately receive the necessary assistance.

There is a volunteer humanitarian centre on the Ukrainian border, where all Ukrainians can receive free psychological, legal and humanitarian assistance, as well as spend the night and get to Sumy or other cities of Ukraine, - the ministry said.

It is noted that it is possible to travel deep into Ukraine on the evacuation train, which runs daily from Sumy: it departs at 6:47 and arrives in Kyiv at 11:41.

In addition, at the Sumy railway station at "Ukrposhta" each citizen is paid upon arrival 3 thousand hryvnias for children and persons with disabilities and 2 thousand hryvnias for all other persons.

The Kyiv OVA promises to accommodate all comers in a modular town in Vyshgorod district.
