Because of the incident, the number of police patrols on the territory bordering Ukraine has been increased.
Moldovan border police officers have found the wreckage of a missile after a massive Russian strike on Ukraine, the Moldovan Interior Ministry has said on Facebook.
The ministry claims that a border patrol discovered the remnants of a missile in the Larga area (Briceni district).
The report says: "Following Russia's massive bombardment of Ukraine, a border police patrol discovered the remains of a missile fired as a result of Russian airstrikes on Ukraine this afternoon near the Larga border sector."
The Interior Ministry also published a photo of the missile wreckage.

The ministry also said that the number of airspace surveillance patrols on the Ukrainian border territory had been increased.
