Moscow is against the entry of Finland and Sweden into NATO.

The head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, announced a possible strike by a strategic missile system against Finland and Sweden if they join NATO.

Russia has no hostile intentions towards Finland and Sweden, said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko. "Sarmat" also has no prejudice and hostile intentions towards NATO countries. It’s just such a job,” Rogozin wrote.

The RS-28 "Sarmat" is a fifth-generation Russian silo-based strategic missile system with a heavy multi-stage liquid-propellant intercontinental ballistic missile.

If Sweden and Finland apply to join NATO, the land border of the alliance with Russia will double from 1215 to 2600 km. Experts believe that countries will make a statement about joining NATO in the near future.
