Four Su-25 attack aircraft of the Armed Forces of the Republic of North Macedonia were transferred to Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defense of North Macedonia has not yet confirmed the information, but has not denied it either, citing security concerns, local media write.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense confirmed information about the transfer of T-72 tanks to Ukraine only after local residents published a photo of the transfer.
Macedonia purchased these aircraft from Ukraine in 2001 for four million euros. Then the country had a conflict with the Albanian separatists. Now the attack aircraft will be transferred back to Ukraine free of charge, and North Macedonia will have to replace them with NATO-standard aircraft.
