How to fly to Canada for free

In Canada, there is a special emergency relocation programme called CUAET for Ukrainian citizens.

Many Ukrainians want to try living in Canada, but the distance and cost of the flight stop them. However, as it turns out, it is possible to fly to Canada without paying a single Canadian dollar. This can be done through the CUAET program, as well as with the help of charities that include Canadian Ukrainians in their funding

Among those, who help Ukrainians to get from Warsaw to the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, are Open Arms, Solidaire and Integralia DKV Foundation. In this case, the destination is Regina, a large Canadian city, which is the capital of Saskatchewan. Tickets are provided with the active support of the province authorities. About 1800 Ukrainian citizens have flown to Canada under this program. You can use this opportunity by filling out a form. As soon as the data is processed, the applicant will be contacted by a Foundation representative

Volunteers meet the Ukrainians upon arrival and, if they wish to leave for another province, they may purchase tickets; if they wish to stay, the regional authorities promise to assist with temporary housing, work and integration. More information is available on the official website of the province and on Facebook, as well as on the official portal of the Foundation.

Ukraine2Canada also offers people to join the program, in which every fortnight it draws 300 free tickets for Ukrainians to Canada, with the support of the Canadian authorities. Departures can be made from different cities in Europe. To enter the program, a valid CUAET visa (one of several special measures of the Canadian government, supporting Ukrainians until they can safely return to their home country) should be obtained, in which case a form should be completed and all necessary documents prepared

Canada was the first western country to recognize Ukraine's independence. Since then, Canada and Ukraine have maintained close relations. Since February 2022, Canada has provided over $1 billion in military aid to Ukraine
