The prosecutor's office has started investigating the circumstances of the death of a mobilised man in Odessa Region. The circumstances of mobilisation and medical care will be checked.



This was reported by the Specialised Defence Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Region.

Prosecutors of the specialised defence prosecutor's offices in the southern region are supervising in the form of procedural guidance in a number of criminal proceedings over the death of a resident of the Shiryaevo settlement in Odessa Region, who was called up on mobilisation with health defects," the statement said.

on 1 August, a serviceman died in one of the military units of Mykolayiv region. The man died on the day of arrival to the military unit. Law enforcers have launched a pre-trial investigation, which will check the legality of conscription of the deceased. And also possible negligent attitude to military service of officials of Berezovsky TCC and SP of Odessa region.

In addition, the prosecutor's office will check the military unit on the possible negligent attitude of medical workers and their assistance after an attack of epilepsy.

We will add that the death of a 29-year-old man named Boris was reported by local media. After that, the head of the joint coordination press centre of the defence forces of southern Ukraine, Nataliya Humenyuk, commented on the event.

According to Humenyuk, the man passed a medical commission and received a certificate suitable for military service.
