Danilov said Russia's Black Sea Fleet is left with "two options"

The Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation has only two options for its future. Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council Oleksiy Danilov wrote about this on his Facebook.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council advised the occupiers to "resort to the glorious Russian military reflexes, namely the destruction of their own fleet when the enemy approaches". He pointed out that such actions would be the best option for Russians to safely leave Crimea.

According to the head of the National Security and Defence Council, in this case, it will be possible to preserve the integrity of the property and economic complex of the city of Akhtiar (the old name of Sevastopol) and the adjacent territories.

Note, on 22 September, Ukrainian troops destroyed the headquarters of the command of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea in the city of Sevastopol. At the same time, the Russian Defence Ministry even acknowledged the death of one military officer, although later the occupants' defence ministry called the deceased "missing".

Against the backdrop of the explosions in occupied Crimea, Air Force commander Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk thanked the Air Force pilots and promised "continuation". The lieutenant-general recalled that Sevastopol is a city of the AFU Naval Forces.
