Death toll in Pokrovsk due to Russian missile strike rises

The death toll from Russian missile strikes on Pokrovsk has risen to ten people. More than 80 people were injured, among them two children. This was reported by the Ukrainian Interior Ministry in Telegram.

It is noted that the head of the 9th fire and rescue squad of the Donetsk region of the State emergency service - Vitaly Kinz, who was injured during the elimination of the consequences of Russian shelling, died in hospital.

He was wounded while dealing with the aftermath of the shelling of Pokrovsk. Doctors desperately fought for his life, but tonight he died, - stated in the message.

It is noted that Kinz was wounded during the repeated shelling of Pokrovsk by the occupants.

We will remind, on August 7, the Russian Federation shelled the centre of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region Iskander missiles. During the rescue operation, when the police and the State Emergency Situations Service worked on the site of the arrival, the occupants attacked the city for the second time.

As a result of shelling, several houses, a hotel, catering establishments, shops and administrative buildings were damaged. According to preliminary data, more than 80 people were injured and 10 others were killed as a result of the attack.
