British intelligence reveals in which parts of the front Russia is preparing for an offensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Russians believe Ukraine may soon go on a counter-offensive.
Russia expects the Ukrainian army to go on the offensive in the near future. Because of this, the occupiers have been dragging significant forces to certain parts of the front. According to British intelligence, Russia has amassed quite a lot of soldiers and equipment in Zaporizhzhya Region. According to intelligence, a significant part of Russians is concentrated between the towns of Vasylivka and Orekhov, the British Defence Ministry has said . the report says6
The way Russia has been working to improve its defences suggests that commanders are likely to be concerned about the possibility of a major Ukrainian offensive in two sectors: either in the north of Luhansk Region or in Zaporozhye
According to British intelligence, a breakthrough by the Ukrainian army in Zaporizhzhya region could have a significant impact on the course of the war. In particular, it would destroy the "land bridge" between Russian territory and occupied Crimea.
If the Ukrainian army starts advancing troops in Luhansk Region, it would further undermine the Russians' main goal - the so-called "liberation of Donbass".
British intelligence reports that both areas are important for the Russians, but it will not be possible to reinforce them simultaneously and equally, so the Russian military leadership must decide which of these two areas to redeploy more forces for defence.
We would like to point out that the area around the town of Kreminna, which is temporarily occupied by Russian troops in Luhansk Region, remains one of the most fierce combat areas.
