No tanks: Germany names military equipment to be transferred to Ukraine

Germany will hand over 24 self-propelled howitzers and six to seven Gepard SAUs.
This was reported by the Die Zeit newspaper.
There are no modern German tanks on the list for supplying equipment to Ukraine. But there are self-propelled howitzers.
More self-propelled howitzers have been delivered to Ukraine. We are talking about 24 units. Six to seven Gepard anti-tank guns will also be delivered.
At the same time, the head of the Bundestag Defence Committee, Marie-Agnes Struck-Zimmermann, sees no obstacles in giving Ukraine tanks. According to her, their provision is now simply necessary and she "sees no more reasons not to do so".
But there is still no support for this initiative in the government.
