The head of state stressed that the military was present at the trilateral talks.

A two-day trilateral meeting between Ukraine, the USA and Russia to discuss possible parameters for ending the war has ended in Abu Dhabi. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the talks were constructive, with military and top officials from all sides participating.

We had time to discuss a lot of things, and it is important that the talks were constructive," he said.

According to Zelenskyy, the USA emphasised monitoring and control over the process of ending the conflict, and the Ukrainian delegation is ready for further meetings, which may take place as early as next week.

I very much appreciate that there is an awareness of the need for American monitoring and control over the process of ending the war and observance of real security. The American side raised the issue of possible formats for approving the parameters of the end of the war and the security circumstances necessary for this," Zelensky wrote.

The negotiations on the part of Ukraine were attended by the head of the OP Kirill Budanov, head of the General Staff of the AFU Andriy Hnatov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council Rustem Umerov, first deputy head of the OP Sergey Kislitsa and others. The United States was represented by Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll and others, and from Russia were present representatives of the army and military intelligence.

Following the meeting, the sides agreed to report back to their capitals on the results and agree on next steps for possible continuation of the talks.
